Dear valued SnapEx users,
Starting on Friday, 22 May 2020, there will be a change in the policy for SNAP points allocation to new users. With the new policy, the total amount of SNAP points that can be earned through various tasks will be reduced from 16,600 SNAP to 10,200 SNAP. However, the absolute value of 1 SNAP will still remain the same, and 10,000 SNAP points will still be the equivalent of 100 USDT.
Existing SnapEx users will not be affected by the new SNAP calculation policy except in the matter of the handling fees rebate in multiples (i.e. for every X amount of handling fees paid to the platform, the user receives multiple of SNAP in return). With the previous policy, new users could earn 5 times the amount of transaction fees in SNAP points. But with the new policy, new users will earn a multiple of 3 times.
All SnapEx users will still be able to use SNAP points to offset their transaction fees. SNAP points can be used to reduce your transaction fees by 50%. The more you trade, the more SNAP points you’ll receive. With more SNAP points, you’ll be able to trade with a lower transaction fee.
The general issuance and usage guidelines of SNAP points will still be managed by SnapEx and will remain the same otherwise. As always, we welcome any feedback so feel free to reach out to us for any issues or concerns about this new policy.
